Live every single day with passion. Don't walk, run after your destiny. And, it all starts with getting up before everyone else to make sure you are ready to take on the day.

2) Exercise often, don't do too much.

Living the Zen Life includes making sure you are fit and healthy. All types of exercise can be good for you, even if it is just a small amount each day. It's good for your brain. It's good for your body. And, most importantly it's essential for you to live your life being healthy and happy. Take a walk. Ride a bike. Park at the very last parking space in the lot. Don't cut corners, just think about how you can make each opportunity count.

3) Take a break

To be zen is to be aware of the body, mind, and soul. Know your strengths and weaknesses. When you feel exhausted, take a breather. Use vacation time from work. You earned it!

Taking the necessary you time and breaks helps increase your productivity. Nobody is a robot. Taking a break allows you to decompress and gather your thoughts to plan out your next move.

4) Treat Yourself

Speaking of you time, there is also a thing called treating yourself. Do one of your favorite activities, such as reading, cooking, watching TV, or taking a 30 catnap. Find what makes you happy.

If you’re feeling stressed or tense after a long day, tapping into your zen life can prove to be hard. Just remember that you are not alone. Massage is a proven form of relaxation.

5) Meditate

Meditation is possible for everyone to do and can be done anywhere and anytime. Meditation is most effective somewhere quiet and comfortable. Another benefit is being outside to breathe in the fresh air. Listen to your breathing and externalise your thoughts.

6) Declutter

The zen life is clarity. If you speak of your home negatively in terms of clutter and messes, you are likely stressed. People who have organized homes seem to be happier. If you don't have a lot of time to clean and organize, tackle 1 room a day or 1 room a week. Satisfaction comes from accomplishing a task you didn't think was possible.
